Operations Project Coordinator
Emily first joined KCD in 2015 as the Education Individual Placement; today Emily uses her passion for Washington’s native plants and wildlife as a member of both the Operations and Implementation teams. She assists with the Board of Supervisors annual elections processes, leads records retention processes, and supports educational programming for the District. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gonzaga University, Emily served two terms with the Washington Conservation Corps. She brings on-the-ground restoration experience, a passion for communicating about science, and data management skills to her position. When she’s not in the office, Emily enjoys adventuring and backpacking throughout our beautiful state. She has a passion for invertebrate conservation and uses her field guides to identify insects and spiders along her hikes.
