Farm Management Services
Farm and livestock owners have access to a variety of services, including farm management planning, soil testing, and KCD manure spreader.

Shoreline and Riparian Habitat Enhancement Services
Landowners and residents can receive help with design and installation of stream, wetland, estuarine and marine beach enhancement projects.

Education Programs
Attend peer guided farm tours, learn about the latest innovations in farm management and participate in the land and water stewardship workshop series. High school students can participate in the Envirothon natural resources competition.

Stream Stewards Program
The KCD Stream Stewards Program trains and supports community members to monitor water quality on local creeks and streams.

Regional Food System Program
The King Conservation District is developing initiatives to strengthen the local food economy, including a series of Early  Action Projects and a new Food System Grant Program.

Landowner Incentive Program
KCD LIP is intended to promote stewardship by enabling landowners to implement best management practices (BMPs) on their land.

Member Jurisdiction and WRIA Forum Grants
This grant program supports natural resource improvement projects in partnership with 35 local jurisdictions and three local watershed forums.

Urban Forest Health Management Program
The KCD Urban Forest Program assists communities with stewarding street trees, urban backyards, and forested open spaces.

Volunteer Opportunities
Community members interested in volunteering with the King Conservation District can learn about growing native plants and enhancing streams and wetlands during one of several scheduled volunteer events.
