Megan grew up on a farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology, and a minor in Political Science. She also holds a Master of Environmental Studies degree, with a concentration in Environmental Biology, from the University of Pennsylvania. Megan has worked on many wildlife research projects, including her first adventure studying parrots and macaws at remote locations in the Amazon Basin in Peru. Prior to joining KCD, she worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and served as a board member for the Bucks County Audubon Society.
