In partnership with the City of Burien, Anchor QEA conducted post-construction eelgrass (Zostera spp.) surveys along the north shoreline of Seahurst Park to monitor the effectiveness of the seawall removal project completed In 2014. The project included the removal of up to approximately 2,500 linear feet of concrete seawall and rock shoreline armoring material and 15,000 cubic yards of fill material behind the seawall. The project also included placement of approximately 25,000 cubic yards of salvaged and imported beach material

Jessica has managed the Member Jurisdiction and WRIA Grant Programs at KCD since March 2007. Jessica has a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and Spanish and graduate level education in the fields of Public Administration, Urban Planning, and Facilitation and Negotiation. She is an experienced program manager responsible for tracking millions of dollars in grant funding with a successful track record of liaising with local governments, nonprofits, and watershed groups on natural resource conservation issues.
