Improve and diversify the Native Discovery Garden at the Bellevue Botanic Garden with the addition of native plant varieties and cultivars, to demonstrate how gardening with native plants, adapted to the climate and conditions of the Pacific Northwest, can be ecologically sound, beautiful, and easy to do. The Native Discovery Garden will reflect a garden-scape where visitors can see how to use native plants in their own landscapes, emphasizing the ornamental, yet educating about habitats and pollinators as part of our ongoing educational programming. We will increase native plant diversity with the addition of native varieties and cultivars.
