Natalie is excited to join KCD as the AmeriCorps Community Engagement Projects Coordinator. She believes in sustainable agriculture and increasing access to healthy food. Natalie holds a Master of Public Administration degree and her Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Washington. Her first AmeriCorps term was spent growing vegetables for a youth empowerment camp in rural West Virginia, and her second term was as the Communications Coordinator for the Shenandoah National Park Trust. Natalie spent this summer running the Carnation Farmers Market in Snoqualmie Valley for SnoValley Tilth. In her free time, she is a singer-songwriter and enjoys music, being outside, traveling and growing organic vegetables.
