AmeriCorps/VetsWork Environment, Mt. Adams Institute Intern
Urban and Rural Forest Stewardship

O: 425-282-1925

Krystal joined KCD in February 2020 as a Forest Stewardship Technician. She is currently serving an AmeriCorps internship through the Mt. Adams Institute’s VetsWork Program. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado has provided her with a deep connection to the outdoors that has only been strengthened by moving to Washington. Krystal chose to stay in the area after completing military service, and she has become passionate about the protection and management of natural resources in the state. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Washington and hopes to use her specialization in Restoration Ecology to expand the capacity of KCD, connect others to the environment, and serve communities in King County. She enjoys being outside, traveling, and reading.
