Caroline is thrilled to be serving as the Community Agriculture Engagement IP with KCD this year. She is passionate about empowering communities to heal themselves and their natural environment through engaging with sustainable practices modeled after nature. She has a background in community and regenerative agriculture and received her Permaculture Design Certificate from the Mesoamerican Institute of Permaculture in Guatemala. She has experience working as an elementary school Food Educator with Common Threads Farm in Bellingham, as well as in supporting urban agriculture projects in Boston and Accra, Ghana. Caroline also loves sharing stories and has worked in the past as a journalist and editor. She holds a BA degree in International Affairs from Northeastern University. In her free time, Caroline enjoys yoga and meditation, writing poetry, and exploring as much of this beautiful planet as she possibly can.
