Program Coordinator, Agricultural Drainage Assistance Program
Liz Stockton re-joined KCD in 2021 and has over a decade of farming experience that began in the Snoqualmie Valley. Since then, she has farmed in several parts of Washington including Thurston, Whatcom, Pierce and Spokane counties. Through these experiences, Liz has gained a broad understanding of the challenges for farmers in this region. Originally a native of Virginia, Liz spent most of her childhood hiking in the Appalachian Mountains and pleading with her grandfather to let her drive the tractor by herself. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in biology with a focus on entomology.
