Candidate Speed Virtual Meet and Greet Tonight at 7pm

King County Young Democrats and the 46th Democrats are hosting a candidate forum for the King Conservation District Board of Supervisors Election.

You are invited to get to know your candidates running for King Conservation District Board of Supervisors. It is hard for candidates to reach out to voters especially during a pandemic. We want to give voters a chance to talk in small group settings with their candidates.

YOU can ask the questions YOU want to know.

Learn more and register for the event through their Facebook Event Page https://www.facebook.com/events/484539996039463

7:00 -7:05 – Welcome
7:05 – 7:25 – Candidates give a 2-minute introduction
7:25 – 7:40 – Speed Round of “Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down”
7:40 – 8:25 – Voters will be split into 8 different break-out rooms. Candidates will then be rotated through the rooms for 5 minutes each so they can get to talk directly with voters.

Supervisors serve a three-year term and oversee the operations of KCD. Board members contribute local perspectives on important natural resource management and conservation issues, seek feedback about conservation programs from District residents, set KCD policy, and direct KCD’s work plan and budget.
