Request for Qualifications: Human Resources Consulting

Request for Qualifications: King Conservation District seeks a consulting firm to provide Human Resources assistance. This contract will support HR special projects as well as “day to day” operations. Contracted HR Specialist(s) will report to and work with the Executive Director.

Special Projects potentially include, but are not limited to: union relations and collective bargaining; job classification analysis, employee manual updating; risk management (including drug testing) policies; compensation scale analysis; job description and advancement trajectory analysis and refinement; performance management; recruiting- screening-onboarding (including new hire orientation check list); workplace diversity and inclusion; employee recognition and retention; overtime/comp time policies; annual staff training (workplace conduct, sexual harassment etc.).

May also potentially include: dispute/grievance resolution; coaching and mentorship for mid- level managers, workplace investigations; fielding employee questions related to benefits, retirement, medical, enrollment, paychecks, sick, and annual leave, IRS, direct deposit, deferred compensation, holiday and paid time off, medical leave and FMLA and general KCD policies; streamlining payroll processing and tracking; coordinating with KCD accounting and finance to ensure that all benefit and life event information is input into relevant systems in an accurate and timely fashion

KCD anticipates that this will be an annual contract with an option to renew. Responses are due: January 14, 2022
