Program Coordinator, Community Agriculture
Miranda joined KCD in the summer of 2022 as the Community Agriculture Program Coordinator. A proud Washingtonian, she grew up in Renton and attended Western Washington University, earning undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science and Spanish. She is invigorated by collaborating with growers, having worked on farms and with farmers both in Washington and abroad, where she served with The Peace Corps in Panama as a Crop Extension Volunteer and later the Sustainable Agriculture Program Coordinator. She is passionate about empowering communities to participate in and transform our food system through growing, gleaning, and foraging. Outside of work she enjoys hiking and hunting for mushrooms, road-tripping, and yoga.
