Emma Atkinson joined KCD in 2022 as the AmeriCorps Education Individual Placement. She earned a B.A. from Smith College, where she studied biology and geosciences. After graduating, she returned to her native Western Washington to work as a salmon habitat restoration technician. She is passionate about learning about the environment and finding engaging new ways to share that information. Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, tap dancing, and playing with her dog Webster.
