
The scope of work and RFP was sent out March 2, 2023 to contractors listed on both the MRSC public works roster (for vegetation work) and the Seattle MBEWBE public works roster. No contractors attended the pre-bid meeting and no bids were received. The scope of work and RFP was sent out again on March 24, 2023 to contractors listed on KCD’s small works roster who specified tree pruning as an area of service. No contractors attended the pre-bid meeting but Cascade Ecology submitted a bid and as a qualified, responsive bidder they were chosen for the project.
King Conservation District (KCD) is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to complete the Seattle Fruit Tree Project. This Project involves two (2) years of maintenance of fruit trees including light invasive plant removal as necessary to allow access, pruning fruit trees, mulching, composting unusable fruit, compost pile construction (where appropriate), and litter removal. We will accept bids for one, two, or three sites (Burke Gilman Trail Orchard, East Duwamish Trail, Longfellow Creek Greenspace).

Evaluation of bids will include consideration of qualifications and experience, project schedule, and project bids.
