Madison earned a degree in Environmental Studies from Pacific Lutheran University and is passionate about environmental stewardship. She has served in AmeriCorps through the Emergency Food Network – recruiting volunteers at the organization’s Warehouse, partner farm, and fundraising events, to build capacity for distribution of food to 80+ food pantries in Pierce County.
She has prior experience with conservation districts as a volunteer for Pierce CD, both attending and leading Habitat Restoration work sessions, and as Water Quality Monitor gathering data on the health of Clover Creek in Puyallup. Madison comes to us from her most recent role as an Inventory Control Specialist at REI’s Sumner distribution center.
In her free time, Madison enjoys learning zero waste tips and tricks, hiking, birding, and reading classics.
