Ahmad Omran Khwajapoor joined KCD Farm Services in fall of 2023 as the AmeriCorps Community Agriculture Specialist. Omran was born and raised in Afghanistan. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Agronomy and Agriculture. He started his career working with small agricultural projects and later expanded to nationwide government organizations in Afghanistan. Omran started his own farming enterprise in 2019 growing tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries. Omran enjoys helping people improve their farming and conservation practices. As an environment protection activist, he strives to conserve and take care of Natural Resources and persuade others to do so. He enjoys being with friends and family, traveling, swimming, and making new friends.
