2026 Plant Sale
KCD’s annual Native Plant Sale offers a variety of native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers for conservation purposes such as wildlife habitat, windbreaks, hedgerows, reforestation and stream enhancement. They also work great on home and garden projects. A majority of the plants offered are bareroot stock which means they do not come in pots or burlap bags, but are harvested from the field in winter when the plants are dormant and ready to be replanted. Bareroot plants are affordable, hardy, have well-developed roots, and are easy to handle, transport and plant. All sales are pre-order/pre-purchase only. We do not offer walk-up sale of plants during the pick-up dates. We do sell out of plants (many in the first week), so order early for the best deals and availability!
November 4, 2025 – 2025 Native Plant Store Preview available to review stock and pricing.
November 18, 2025 – Plant Sale Store starts taking Orders at 9am.
February 6, 2026 – Plant Sale Store closes at noon.
February 25-27, 2026 – Rolling pickups for notified customers. If you don’t have a message from KCD your order is not ready for pickup.
February 28, 2026 – Pickup Day for all customers!
Pickups take place at the Tukwila Community Center (12424 42nd Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98168).
Introducing Rolling Pickups
We pack your orders on site at the Tukwila Community Center during the week leading up to Saturday, February 28. As we finish packing orders, we’ll notify customers that your order has been packed and is ready for pick-up. If you get one of these notifications, you may also come during a rolling pickup window Wednesday through Friday.

We know that a new system may have some bumps, but are hopeful that this can help us be more efficient overall in getting plants packed and out the door. So thank you for your patience as we trial this new system.
