Brittney Bush Bollay
Vice-Chair
Position No. 1 – Elected
Term: June 2024 to June 2027
Brittney’s love for the environment was born during childhood camping trips with her Girl Scout troop in Middle Tennessee and nurtured through years of hiking, backpack, and scuba diving. A delightfully adventurous life took her across four states and five countries before she found a forever home in King County fifteen years ago.
In addition to her service on the Board of Supervisors, Brittney is a longtime volunteer with Sierra Club and has previously served on the board of The Vera Project and the Queen Anne Community Council. She believes strongly that environmental work should be led by those most impacted and is passionate about connecting frontline communities with the resources they need to effect positive change. In her spare time, she’s usually thinking about baseball.
Caleb Gwerder
Supervisor
Position No. 2 – Appointed
Term: 6/17/2025 to 6/17/2028

Csenka Favorini-Csorba
Supervisor
Position #3 – Elected
Term: 5/18/2023 to 5/18/2029
Csenka has been embedded in the world of conservation for over a decade, but has been a blossoming environmentalist since she was a child saving worms from the sidewalk and doing experiments in the mud.
She embraces the mantra to “think global, act local” and backs it with experience in forest management and sustainable agriculture in Southeast Asia, South America, Canada, and the United States Southeast. Since 2021, she’s been working at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, applying her broad knowledge to the state she calls home.
As a Board Supervisor, she is committed to ensuring that historically and systemically excluded communities have greater access to KCD’s programs and assistance, finding pathways for those communities to become landowners and land managers, increasing consultation and engagement with Tribes, reforming our election process, and bringing carbon sequestration and storage into focus as part of KCD’s work.

Jessi Bloom
Supervisor
Position No. 4 – Appointed
Term: 5/20/2024 to 5/20/2027
Jessi Bloom grew up in the PNW with a deep affinity for stewarding the land from a young age. She began her career at King Conservation District in the 1990s after studying environmental horticulture, arboriculture, and sensitive area management in college. Since 2000, Jessi has focused primarily on the private sector, working with landowners through her business, NW Bloom – Ecological Services, as a consultant and design/build professional.
Over the past 25 years, Jessi has become a best-selling author of multiple books on sustainable and regenerative design. Her specialties include permaculture design, stormwater management, and animal systems. As a first-generation farmer, arborist, educator, and ecological designer, she is dedicated to giving back to the community. She has volunteered her time to advise government agencies, school districts, and community organizations.
Currently, Jessi serves as the co-chair of the King County Agricultural Commission, is a member of the Washington State DNR Community Forestry Advisory Committee and is excited to be on the board of supervisors of the King Conservation District.

Burr Mosby
Supervisor
Position No. 5 – Appointed
Term: 5/18/2023 to 5/18/2029
A first-generation farmer, Burr Mosby was appointed to serve a three-year term on KCD’s Board by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Burr started farming in 1977 and today Mosby Farms grows 350 acres of vegetables in the valleys of Auburn, Sumner and Orting. The farm supplies produce houses, grocery chains and restaurants in the Pacific Northwest.
Burr and his family are involved in state and local agriculture advocacy and community groups that support agriculture and healthy eating. Mosby Farms believes in giving back to the community and does so by donating produce to local food banks and soup kitchens from Seattle to Orting. Being a good steward of the land is of utmost priority for the future of agriculture, and Burr shares his knowledge from farmer’s perspective as a member of KCD’s Board of Supervisors.
