Prior to her corps experience in western Washington, Emma served in the Rocky Mountain Conservation Corps for the National Park Service in Rocky Mountain National Park. Emma has worked on riparian buffer zones restoring salmon habitat all over King County and believes that a connection and relationship to our waters, wildlife, and lands is key to a healthy future. On her weekends, you’ll find Emma conducting amphibian monitoring surveys or curled up by a window with her cat.
