Prepare for Envirothon by learning about the birds and mammals of Western Washington!
Participating in Envirothon? Interested in Envirothon? Come and learn about the wildlife topic at Slater Museum!
Envirothon is a high school environmental science competition that tests students’ knowledge on Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, Soil, and a yearly current issue – this year’s is Adapting to a Changing Climate.
During this workshop, we will go over different wildlife specimens that might be included the Envirothon Wildlife section. Students will be able to see and touch specimens of native birds and mammals while learning about how to identify these species in the wild. This is a great opportunity to get your teams ready for the Regional Envirothon. This event is also open to all students, so if you are unsure about participating in Envirothon and want to know more, think you can benefit from this session for other events, or are simply interested in wildlife, you are more than welcome to join us!
