Join the community of carbon crushers! Snohomish Conservation District’s Agriculture Resilience Team is hosting a series of virtual meetings to share some information about five topics – trees, soil, livestock, water, and technology. After brief explanations about how these topics play a role in climate change, SCD will moderate a discussion to hear from participants about how to use these practices where we live and work.
Their aim is to connect with as many people within Snohomish County and Camano Island who have interest in protecting farmland, locally grown food, and learning about the effects of climate change on our local environment. Whether you are a farmer, a resident, or just have a curiosity about what is happening in our region to support our limited farmland, please consider signing up for email updates regarding the implementation of SCD’s Agriculture Resilience Plan and learn about ways you can help slow the effects of climate change.
