Beavers are an important part of a healthy ecosystem. However, when they remove trees from your property and dam streams, they can often seem like a pest. At this workshop, we will discuss the many benefits of beavers and the impacts they have on the landscape. We will also discuss management options for dealing with beavers that have moved in to your area.

In addition, Beavers Northwest has an exciting opportunity to provide beaver management solutions for qualifying landowners at low cost through generous funding from Puget Soundkeeper and the Rose Foundation. Come and learn about opportunities for financial and technical assistance with installing pond levelers on your property to manage beaver-caused flooding.

This event is co-hosted by King Conservation District. KCD staff will be available to share information about their programs and answer questions about resource concerns.
