Discover how native plants can thrive in our local environment, attract pollinators and support biodiversity. We will discuss strategies to incorporate native plants into even very small garden spaces and share tips on selecting, planting, and maintaining native plants. This event will specifically address considerations for adding native plants to community garden spaces, and is perfect for community gardeners interested in creating sustainable and beautiful gardens.
Everyone who attends will get to practice planting and have a chance to win native plants to take back to your garden! We will provide all needed tools, gloves, and snacks and beverages. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow community gardeners and gain valuable knowledge about using native plants!
