Lennae Starr

Projects Coordinator, Education

C: 206-379-5258 – lennae.starr@kingcd.org

Lennae was born and raised in West Seattle before heading down to Walla Walla, Washington to attend Whitman College, earning a BA in environmental studies and anthropology. After graduating in the midst of the pandemic, she moved back to South Seattle to attend Antioch University’s Urban Environmental Education graduate program.

Her work has always revolved around education and the environment: YMCA BOLD/GOLD, Pacific Science Center, Sustainability Ambassadors, Young Women Empowered, Discover Your Northwest, Seattle Parks and Rec as well as Seattle Public Utilities, and now KCD.

They are excited to work with KCD to cultivate a passion for outdoor experiential learning in King County schools and communities, and to remind everyone that they have a right to safely explore and enjoy the abundant public lands in the region.

Out of the office, you can find Lennae playing ultimate frisbee and softball, baking gluten free goodies, shopping secondhand, studying Japanese language, exploring Seattle’s Pho restaurants, and hosting crafting parties.
