Help spread the word about KCD Member Jurisdiction Grants. Many cities have additional grant funds available to them. Nonprofits can partner with a city for a conservation project. Nonprofit organizations and other groups can manage the grant requirements on behalf of the city. To learn more about what types of projects KCD funds, please contact Jessica.Saavedra@kingcd.org via email, call 425-773-9065, or schedule a meeting with her via Calendly.

KCD is made up of thirty-five Member Jurisdictions (34 cities and unincorporated King County). A portion of KCD’s revenue collected from Member Jurisdictions is set aside as grants for conservation projects prioritized by that Member Jurisdiction. Jurisdictions can utilize the funds for city-led conservation projects, partner with a nonprofit organization to carry out a conservation project or contract with KCD to utilize the funds for an urban forestry project.
