Nicholas served on the WCC crew in the 2025-2026 season as a part of KCD’s Riparian Habitat Restoration Program. Originally from California, Nicholas began his conservation journey with the California Conservation Corps, where he worked as a Type 1 Wildland Firefighter on fuel reduction and watershed projects, as well as emergency response. He also spent time as an instructor for the Lompoc High School music program, where he enjoyed mentoring students and helping them build confidence through performance. His diverse background in leadership, teamwork, and education has shaped his passion for restoring natural ecosystems and supporting community-based conservation.
