Celebrate Kirkland Forest Day
The City of Kirkland is offering two (2) free trees for pick up at Juanita Beach Park on October 15 TO BE RESCHEDULED. Trees must be planted on private property (with permission from the landowner) within Kirkland.
How to Get Your Trees
1) Evaluate your planting site and this year’s tree options. Select the tree best suited for the space. Does your planting site have a lot of light or is it shady? Is it wet all year round or dry? Is your space really large or smaller? Do you want flowers or fruits or cones? Check out Kirkland’s DIY planting guide for more information.
2) Apply for trees online between August 12 and September 23.
3) Plan your tree transport options. Trees will be in 5 gallon pots and approximately 6 feet tall.
4) Pick up your new trees on October 15 from 12:00noon to 2:00pm at Juanita Beach Park is now on Wednesday, October 9, 3pm to 6pm at Kirkland City Hall.
5) Plant your trees! Stay connected with Kirkland Conserves and receive tips and tree care reminders to keep your trees healthy.

Celebre el día del bosque en Kirkland
La ciudad de Kirkland ofrece dos (2) árboles gratis para recoger en Juanita Beach Park el Octubre 15. Los árboles deben plantarse en propiedad privada (con permiso de la terrateniente) dentro de Kirkland.
Cómo obtener su árbol
1) Evalúe el sitio para plantar y las opciones de árboles de este año. Seleccione el árbol que mejor se ajuste al espacio. ¿Su lugar para plantar tiene mucha luz o tiene sombra? ¿Está mojado o seco todo el año? ¿Su espacio es muy grande o pequeño? ¿Quiere flores, frutas o conos? 2) Solicite árboles en línea del 12 de agosto al 23 de septiembre.
3) Planifique sus opciones de tranporte de árboles. Los árboles estarán en macetas de 5 galones y tendrán aproximadamente 6 pies de altura.
4) Recoja sus árboles nuevos el 15 de octubre 2022, de 12mediodía a 2 pm en el Juanita Beach Park (9703 Juanita Dr NE, Kirkland, WA 98034).
5) ¡Lleve sus árboles a casa y plántelos! Siga conectado con Kirkland Conserves reciba consejos y recordatorios para el cuidado de los árboles a fin de mantenerlos saludables.
