KCD’s Riparian Stewardship program works to educate and empower streamside and lakeshore landowners and communities through technical assistance, workshops, and one-on-one education to better steward streams, lakes, and waterways throughout King County. Workshops are structured to educate urban and rural community members, as well as farmers and other land managers on actions they can take to steward our shared watersheds. We provide technical assistance and implement restoration projects that help landowners achieve their conservation goals. We work with you to restore health to our waterways for you, your community, and our wild neighbors!
