The Member Jurisdiction Grant Program funds projects in partnership with the 34 cities (excluding Seattle) that are members of King Conservation District. For Seattle projects please see the Seattle Community Partnership Grant Program details here. Applicants for this program must partner with or represent a member jurisdiction (34 cities and King County) to put forth a proposal that meets both jurisdictional and District priorities for natural resource improvement. Activities eligible for funding through this program include the direct improvement of natural resource conditions, education and outreach, pilot and demonstration projects and projects that build capacity. Please review the grant program guidelines below.

Grant applications for this program must be submitted through our online grant portal. Budget forms must be uploaded into the system as an attachment to your application. The link to the online grant portal and forms to upload can be found below. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

In order to apply for a grant you must have a user name and password to log in to the online grant portal. If you have received a grant from KCD before, contact us for your user name and password. Your contact information is already in our system. If you have not applied for a grant before you will need to create a new account. The online grant portal will also be used for after-grant award agreements and reporting.

Board Meeting and Subcommittee Meeting Schedule

Member Jurisdiction Grant Applications must be submitted no later than Monday the week before the meeting for consideration and review.

The Grant Subcommittee meets to review grant applications, amendments and approve grant close outs. The Grant Subcommittee forwards recommended grant applications to the Board for approval. Meetings are held via Zoom unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public.
